WordPress is one of the most widely used content management systems, found on 25% of the world’s websites. The popularity of WordPress comes from its ease of use for people of all skill levels. This beginners WordPress class is intended for those who are new to WordPress and need to learn the basics of the software, the terminology, and managing content effectively.
In this Beginners WordPress class, you will start by learning the step by step basics of creating a WordPress website. Our goal is to help you understand the history and terminology of WordPress and provide you with the skills and confidence to start your own.
In addition, we will teach you how to take a WordPress website to the next level and customize it using themes, plug-ins, and widgets. By the end of this course, you will possess the “know-how” to make a WordPress website stand out from the rest; the power that every web designer wants, is now at your fingertips.
Class Objective: You will learn the basics of the WordPress interface and learn how to build and customize a website using the WordPress platform.
