In our Social Media Beginners class, you will understand how to build a strategy to engage an audience, grow your community, and drive more inbound traffic to your website. This is a fantastic starting point for anyone who is new to social media for business or is looking for how to grow an audience with existing social channels.
The Social Media for Business class is an A-Z explanation of how to increase awareness, create social media campaigns, build your brand, connect with your customers, grow customer loyalty, and more. It is no longer a question of “why” you should be using social media for your business; it is now something every business needs to have.
Class Objectives
Upon successful completion of the Social Media Beginners class, students will be able to:
- Determine which social media platforms are best for your business
- Understand your voice on social media

- Create a system to manage your social media
- Understand the importance of digital marketing as a part of your overall marketing plan

Pre-requisites
- Basic digital literacy including file management is required
- Having a Google AdWords account set up prior to class is recommended, but not required

Each Certificate Program & Bootcamp is comprised of several stand-alone classes, plus additional classes specific to your career field, portfolio building with a comprehensive Capstone Project, and career coaching workshops.
Support and mentoring a huge part of all of our full length programs.

Stand-Alone Classes
Every stand-alone class at DWC includes support and mentoring throughout.
Stand-alone classes within your program also include:
