Microsoft PowerPoint Advanced (Level 2)
Everyone builds their own deck. It shows.
Six people build decks and you get six brands. Fonts drift, the logo is a different size every time, and someone spends an afternoon each month making other people's slides match. That is a template problem, and almost every organization has it.
This class fixes it at the source. Participants build a real branded template with locked masters and proper layouts, so the next deck starts consistent instead of being corrected into consistency. Then the craft: animation that directs attention rather than decorating, and multimedia that plays on the machine in the room.
Marketing and communications teams take this to standardize output. In-house teams take it where deck production is eating real time. It follows on from Microsoft PowerPoint Beginners (Level 1).
Content, examples, and exercises are built around your own files and workflows before delivery. Most groups train live online, and on-site in-person delivery is available by request. This class is available by request only, with a three participant minimum, and sits alongside our other Microsoft Office training.
This course includes
- Live, instructor led class delivered across two sessions
- A real branded template built for your organization during class
- Animation and transition taught as attention direction, not decoration
- Multimedia that plays reliably on a machine that is not yours
- Digital learning materials and take home reference guides
- Certificate of completion for every participant
Description
The first session is the template, built properly. Slide master, layout inheritance, theme colors and fonts, and locked elements so a colleague cannot accidentally move the logo. Participants build a real branded template for their organization and see what stops drifting once it exists.
The middle is animation and transition with intent. Participants learn to use motion to direct attention, reveal in sequence, and build a point rather than to decorate. They work on the morph transition and on the restraint that separates a professional deck from one that has discovered the animation menu.
The final session is multimedia and production. Video and audio embedded so they play reliably on someone else's machine, which is where most presentations fail publicly. Then workflow: sections, reusable slide libraries, collaboration, and exporting for different purposes so the deck you present and the deck you send are both right.
