In the Adobe After Effects Advanced class (Level 2) students will dive deeper into animation and motion graphics for video projects. After Effects has an amazing power to create visually interesting motion graphics, but getting started with this software requires a lot of time and practice with the program. This advanced After Effects workshop aims to provide students with more support and mentoring in a hands-on, lab-style class setting. Adobe After Effects Advanced will examine advanced features of the application including editing techniques, advanced masks, useful video effects, and best practices for rendering video.

Overview
In After Effects Advanced, students will learn from motion graphic professionals to understand the latest techniques and best practices that are used on the job every day. Our instructors will teach students the real-world job skills that are vital to landing a job in this field and creating professional motion graphic projects.
Taught in a bootcamp style, our programs balance an accelerated pace of learning with small class sizes to make sure every student receives individual support and mentoring throughout their education experience. Pre-requisites
- Basic digital literacy including file management is required.
- Adobe After Effects Beginners (Level 1) or equivalent knowledge is required.
- Adobe Photoshop Beginners (Level 1) or equivalent knowledge is recommended, but not required.

When can I start?
The average length to complete the a certificate program is 6 months. Total length may vary based on the pace in which you schedule your classes.
Each certificate program allows one year to be completed, but, depending on your pace of learning and skill level, you may move as fast or as slow as you like within that time frame. Veteran students may have certain restrictions on total program length.
Each program is comprised of several stand-alone classes listed above and a Capstone project. Once you have completed all the necessary course work, you will earn your certificate.
