Description

QuickBooks Online Beginners classes will teach you about the essential information you need to track in your business, and how to enter that information into QuickBooks. By the time you complete QuickBooks training, you will build confidence in your accounting software package to save time and organize business finances.

QuickBooks Online courses are taught by a bookkeeping expert and each student will work in a sample company file to be able for practice.

QuickBooks classes are hands-on and intensive and we have designed the class to make difficult topics easier to understand. Your instructor, a QuickBooks expert, will work with you closely to make sure that you avoid common mistakes in QuickBooks and apply best practices when possible.

Objectives

Upon successful completion of the QuickBooks Online Beginners workshop, students will have an understanding of the following:

  • Navigating the QuickBooks Online environment
  • Setting up a company file
  • Creating a chart of accounts
  • Entering products and services
  • Recording common accounting transactions
  • Create estimates, invoices, and sales receipts for customers
  • Enter and pay bills for vendors
  • Write and print checks

Prerequisites

  • Introduction to Computers (Basic Digital Literacy) or equivalent knowledge.
  • Some experience with accounting vocabulary is helpful but not required.
  • It is recommended that you have access to a sample company file for QuickBooks online before the start of your first class
