Overview

The landscape of business, operations, collaboration and general team engagement have dramatically changed in the last few years. Organizations have had to adapt to new market conditions and new environments like they never have before, making it critical to stay agile, adaptive and responsive to continuous change.

In our 16 hour Agile and Scrum Essentials workshop, we take you through the principles and values of Agile, along with the framework of Scrum that teaches teams how to create, manage and deliver value through various techniques and approaches to work.

After establishing a baseline of Agile knowledge, we get into a sequence of applied exercises, from developing team norms, customer persona development and conceptual planning to simulations of sprint planning, retrospectives and daily scrums! We also simulate challenges/blockers, teaching you how to address them in timely manners with your assigned teams.

With 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Chris Hoquis has held a myriad of roles in application development, business analysis, project management, and has now been University level classes for over 5 years. He is extremely passionate about all things Agile and bringing people together to share knowledge and learn concepts that can be readily applied in your professional life.
