Most AI ethics training is a values statement with a quiz attached. Employees agree that fairness matters, pass, and go back to doing exactly what they were doing. Nothing about the actual decisions they face changes.
This workshop works the other direction, starting from the situations that come up. The summary that dropped the caveat. The screening tool that scores one group lower and nobody knows why. The customer who was not told a bot wrote the reply. The analysis that is probably fine, and would be very hard to explain if it was not.
HR and learning and development leaders use this alongside an AI policy rollout, because the policy tells people what is prohibited and this tells them how to think when the situation is not covered. Operations leaders use it where AI is touching decisions about people, money, or service. It works in regulated and public sector settings where transparency and equal treatment are obligations rather than preferences.

Course outline
How the workshop runs
Every session is live with a real instructor, and the exercises are built around your team's work.
The session opens where bias actually enters, which is rarely where people expect. Not malice, but training data that reflects the past, a proxy variable that stands in for something protected, and an evaluation that never checked. Participants work real examples and learn why a system can be biased without anyone intending it and without it being detectable from the output alone.
The middle is transparency and privacy. When does someone have a right to know AI was involved. What actually happens to text pasted into a tool, and why that answer differs by tool and by contract. What cannot go in regardless. Participants work through their own realistic cases rather than hypotheticals.
The last stretch is the line that matters most: which decisions a person must own. Participants learn to recognize when a recommendation is being treated as a decision, when they cannot explain an outcome and therefore should not act on it, and how to raise a concern about a tool their organization has already bought.
