This workshop closes it with the least glamorous thing available: a shared, accurate mental model. What these systems are doing when they generate text. Why fluent output and correct output are unrelated. Which tasks they are genuinely good at, and which ones they fail at in ways that are hard to spot.
HR and learning and development leaders use it as a baseline before rolling out an approved tool, so adoption starts from understanding rather than rumor. Operations managers use it where staff are already improvising and the risk is unmanaged. Examples use the tools your organization has actually approved, and your data handling rules are built into the exercises.
Content, scenarios, and examples are built around your actual work and your approved tools before delivery. Most groups train live online, and on-site in-person delivery is available by request. Description
The session opens with what these systems actually do, at the level a working professional needs rather than an engineer. Participants learn that a language model predicts plausible text, not true text, and that this single fact explains almost every failure mode they will encounter. Most arrive believing the tool looks things up. It does not.
The middle is the practical boundary. Participants work through tasks where AI performs well, drafting, summarizing, reformatting, brainstorming, and tasks where it fails quietly: anything requiring current facts, precise numbers, or accountability. They practice verifying output rather than trusting it, and learn to recognize the confident fabrication that reads exactly like the correct answer.
The last stretch is safety and policy. Participants learn what happens to information pasted into a tool, why customer data, personnel records, and unreleased material do not belong there, and how to work inside your organization's rules. Every exercise uses your approved tools and realistic tasks from participants' own roles.
