Every department bought its own AI tool. Now what?
Most organizations did not decide on an AI strategy. They accumulated one. Three departments bought overlapping tools, one built something nobody else knows about, procurement approved a contract with terms nobody read, and the executive team is being asked to endorse a direction that already exists.
This workshop is for the people who have to impose direction on that. Not the technology, which changes faster than any course can track, but the durable questions: what are we actually trying to achieve, what do we fund and what do we decline, who decides, and how would we know if it worked.
This is the strategy workshop of our three AI leadership courses. Leading your own team through adoption is AI Leadership. Delivering a specific initiative is Leading AI-Enabled Programs and Initiatives. It is built for real constraints, including public sector procurement, transparency obligations, and the accountability that comes with spending public money.
Content, scenarios, and examples are built around your actual work and your approved tools before delivery. Most groups train live online, and on-site in-person delivery is available by request. This workshop is available by request only, with a three participant minimum, and sits alongside our other leadership development workshops.

Course outline
How the workshop runs
Every session is live with a real instructor, and the exercises are built around your team's work.
Day one starts with the honest inventory. Participants map what their organization is actually doing with AI right now, including the parts nobody sanctioned, and most find more than they expected. From there they work on direction: what problem is worth solving, what is a solution looking for one, and how to tell them apart before the money moves.
The rest of day one is evaluation and investment. Participants learn to interrogate a vendor claim without a technical background, by asking what it was tested on, what happens when it fails, and who is accountable. They practice deciding what to fund, what to decline, and how to decline in a way that survives the executive who championed it.
Day two is governance and communication. Participants learn to establish oversight before an incident forces it, define who has authority to approve what, and set the standard the organization is actually held to. They practice communicating AI priorities so departments move together rather than separately, and explaining a decision to a board, a regulator, or the public.

AI tools are already on your employees' desktops. DWC AI workshops teach teams to use them well and safely, from AI fundamentals and prompt engineering for everyday roles to ethical AI, AI and data literacy, and AI for project managers.
