Description
Your organization is adopting AI faster than it can train people to use it well. Copilot can draft the email, summarize the meeting, and analyze the spreadsheet, but someone still has to write a prompt that gets a usable result, check whether the numbers hold up, and keep sensitive information protected. The AI for Business Professionals Certificate builds that person.
This program is private, live instruction centered on Microsoft 365 Copilot, the platform assessed by the Microsoft Certified: AI Business Professional exam (AB-730). You train inside the apps you already use every day, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, on business scenarios that mirror your role: the client email, the budget spreadsheet, the board deck, the meeting recap. You learn how Copilot uses your organization's data, write and refine prompts as a professional skill, build and share Copilot agents without writing code, and delegate multi-step work with appropriate oversight.
The curriculum follows the published AB-730 exam domains. Every exam-aligned module ends with a hands-on competency check, and the program closes with dedicated exam review, a full practice assessment, and a capstone project that leaves you with a portfolio of AI-assisted work products to show an employer. No coding or technical background is required.

Overview
Microsoft 365 Copilot Training and AB-730 Certification Prep for Business Professionals
This 78-hour certificate program is delivered live online in twenty-six 3-hour sessions, two per week over about 13 weeks, and is built for professionals in marketing, finance, HR, operations, administration, and management.
You begin with generative AI foundations: how large language models and Copilot work, how context and work files shape a response, where Copilot differs across the Microsoft 365 apps, and the responsible AI and data protection practices that keep your organization's information secure. From there you treat prompt writing as a professional skill, learning effective prompt structure, refining results, building a personal prompt library, and saving, scheduling, and sharing prompts while keeping chats and Notebooks organized.
The largest part of the program is daily work in the apps you already use. You draft and manage email in Outlook, write and summarize documents in Word, analyze data and generate charts in Excel and validate the numbers, build presentations in PowerPoint, and connect Copilot to sources beyond Microsoft 365. You then run meetings with AI, using meeting preparation, real-time catchup, Intelligent recap, the Facilitator agent, and shared Copilot Pages.
Next you move from using AI to delegating to it: applying prebuilt agents, building and sharing your own agent without writing code, and handing multi-step work to Copilot Cowork while reviewing its plan, progress, and results. The final module covers transferable skills for other generative AI assistants, structured AB-730 exam review with a full practice assessment, and a two-session capstone built around your actual role.
This is a private program with no cohort calendar. You set your start date, session days, and session times with your instructor, with evening and daytime options available, so training fits around your job. Contact DWC admissions to discuss your goals, timeline, and funding options.
