The Level 1 gap closes fast. The Level 2 gap is where the hours are. It is the person who exports two reports and matches them by eye, who retypes data because the format is wrong, who builds the same summary by hand every month.
None of that is a knowledge problem exactly. They have heard of lookups. They have not been shown the pattern that turns a two hour reconciliation into a formula. This workshop is that gap, taught on the work they are actually doing.
Operations and finance leaders use this where reporting takes days it should not. HR and learning and development leaders use it for staff whose Excel plateaued years ago. Participants bring their own real files, and most leave having automated something they had accepted as unavoidable.
Content, datasets, and examples are built around your actual work before delivery. Most groups train live online, and on-site in-person delivery is available by request. Description
The first session is getting data from where it is to where you need it. Participants learn the lookup family properly, including why the classic approach breaks and what to use instead, and practice matching two datasets that do not quite agree. This is usually where the biggest single time saving in the workshop lands.
The second session is logic and cleaning. Participants build conditional formulas that handle real exceptions rather than the tidy case, and learn to split, combine, and standardize messy imported data without retyping any of it. They work on their own bad data, which is more instructive than clean examples.
The workshop closes on summarizing. Participants learn to turn a large table into an answer a manager can read, using functions that aggregate conditionally, and build a report that updates rather than one they rebuild.

Participants should be comfortable entering data, writing basic formulas, and understanding cell references. Those without that foundation should start with Microsoft Excel Beginners (Level 1).
