Most AI pilots succeed. Most AI programs never ship.
The pilot works. It always works, because a pilot is a controlled demonstration with clean data and motivated volunteers. Then it meets the actual process, the actual data, and the people who did not choose it, and it stops.
This workshop is about the distance between those two things. Participants learn to scope an initiative that can finish, assess data readiness before committing rather than discovering it at month four, and coordinate work across people, process, data, and technology, where a delay in any one stalls the rest.
This is the delivery workshop of our three AI leadership courses. Leading your team through adoption is AI Leadership. Setting enterprise direction is AI for Leadership and Management. Over two days there is time to work on a real initiative rather than a case study.
Content, scenarios, and examples are built around your actual work and your approved tools before delivery. Most groups train live online, and on-site in-person delivery is available by request. This workshop is available by request only, with a three participant minimum, and sits alongside our other leadership development workshops.

Description
Day one starts with scope and the pilot trap. Participants examine why the demonstration succeeded and what it did not test, and learn to scope an initiative against the messy version rather than the clean one. They work on the question most programs skip: what does done look like, and who agrees.
The rest of day one is data readiness, which is where most AI initiatives actually die. Participants assess whether their data exists, is accessible, is consistent enough to use, and is permitted to be used for this purpose. Most discover the answer is partially, and that the remediation is the project rather than a precursor to it.
Day two is coordination and measurement. Participants practice running an initiative where the data team, the process owners, the technology group, and the affected staff all have to move together, and none of them report to you. They work on measuring outcomes honestly, including building the measure before the enthusiasm sets in, and on the hardest call: recommending you stop.

There are no prerequisites for this workshop. It is designed for program leads, managers, and senior staff accountable for delivering AI initiatives. Teams that need general project structure first can pair it with Project Management Fundamentals.
