Social Media Marketing for Small Business
Five platforms, one of you. Pick the ones that pay.
Social media is where small businesses lose the most time for the least return, because the advice is written for people whose job is social media. You have five platforms, a phone, and twenty minutes between other work.
This workshop is about concentration. Participants work out where their buyers actually are, which is rarely all five, and commit to doing one or two properly instead of all of them badly. Then they learn to make things that perform on those platforms specifically.
Small business owners take this because they are the social media team. Marketing generalists take it because they have been posting consistently for a year with nothing to show and cannot work out why. Every exercise uses your own business and your own accounts.
Content, tools, and examples are built around your own business and marketing before delivery. Most groups train live online, and on-site in-person delivery is available by request. This workshop is available by request only, with a three participant minimum, and sits alongside our other digital marketing workshops.
This course includes
- Live, instructor led workshop delivered in two 4-hour sessions
- Work on your own business and your own accounts
- Short form video practice using a phone, not a production budget
- Small budget paid and boosted campaigns that spend wisely
- Digital learning materials and take home reference guides
- Certificate of completion for every participant
Description
The day opens on choosing. Participants work out where their buyers actually spend time and what each platform is genuinely for, then pick one or two and let the others go. This is the hardest part of the day and the most valuable, because the alternative is the exhaustion most of them arrived with.
The middle is making things that perform. Participants work on short form video, which is the format carrying the most reach across platforms, and learn what earns attention in the first two seconds. They practice with a phone rather than a production budget, because that is what they will actually have on a Tuesday.
The day closes on paid and measurement. Participants run through small paid and boosted campaigns and learn how to spend a modest budget without lighting it on fire, then work out which numbers actually connect to revenue. Followers is not one of them, and understanding why usually changes how they work.
