Most marketing spends everything on getting attention and neglects what happens after. Marketing automation, a customer relationship management system, and lifecycle marketing are how a small team nurtures and retains customers at scale without adding people. Done well, automated lifecycle flows are among the highest return activities in all of marketing. This class shows you how to build that system, guided by an experienced instructor.
The foundation is what makes it work. Your CRM has to be the single source of truth, your lifecycle stages have to reflect reality, and your first party data has to be clean and consented, since poor data is the make or break factor. On that base, a small set of flows drives most of the value, including a welcome series, abandoned cart or browse recovery, post purchase nurture, re-engagement and win back, and lead nurture. Fewer, better workflows outperform dozens of noisy ones. AI can add an intelligence layer on top of these flows, and the deeper agentic work is covered in the AI Agents workshop that follows this one.
You will work with your instructor to map a customer journey, set accurate lifecycle stages, build a welcome flow and a nurture flow, set up simple lead scoring and segmentation, and connect email and text to your CRM. You will learn to measure pipeline influence, retention, and lifetime value rather than just opens. The class is hands-on and intensive, and it is designed to make difficult topics easier to understand so you leave with a working system and the judgment to avoid the trap of over automating.

Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this workshop. It is most useful for marketers with some email or CRM exposure who want a real, connected system rather than scattered sends. Basic comfort using a computer and a web browser is all that is expected. Access to your CRM or email tool is useful for hands on practice, and this class pairs well after the Email Marketing workshop and before the AI Agents workshop.
