Everyone builds their own deck. It shows.
Six people build decks and you get six brands. Fonts drift, the logo is a different size every time, and someone spends an afternoon each month making other people's slides match. That is a template problem, and almost every organization has it.
This class fixes it at the source. Participants build a real branded template with locked masters and proper layouts, so the next deck starts consistent instead of being corrected into consistency. Then the craft: animation that directs attention rather than decorating, and multimedia that plays on the machine in the room.
Marketing and communications teams take this to standardize output. In-house teams take it where deck production is eating real time. It follows on from Microsoft PowerPoint Beginners (Level 1).
Content, examples, and exercises are built around your own files and workflows before delivery. Most groups train live online, and on-site in-person delivery is available by request. This class is available by request only, with a three participant minimum, and sits alongside our other Microsoft Office training.

Course outline
How the workshop runs
Every session is live with a real instructor, and the exercises are built around your team's work.
The first session is the template, built properly. Slide master, layout inheritance, theme colors and fonts, and locked elements so a colleague cannot accidentally move the logo. Participants build a real branded template for their organization and see what stops drifting once it exists.
The middle is animation and transition with intent. Participants learn to use motion to direct attention, reveal in sequence, and build a point rather than to decorate. They work on the morph transition and on the restraint that separates a professional deck from one that has discovered the animation menu.
The final session is multimedia and production. Video and audio embedded so they play reliably on someone else's machine, which is where most presentations fail publicly. Then workflow: sections, reusable slide libraries, collaboration, and exporting for different purposes so the deck you present and the deck you send are both right.

Microsoft Office training
Microsoft Office training for employees
Excel is the tool most teams use every day and the one fewest people were ever taught. DWC builds Microsoft Office training for employees in levels, from beginner foundations through advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI, so each person starts where they are and every session uses your own files.
Combine workshops into a Microsoft Office skills program for new hires, a single department, or a whole team moving work into Microsoft 365.
Can you customize this workshop for our team?
Yes. Content, datasets, and examples are built around your actual work before delivery, so participants practice on the files, tools, and situations they deal with every day.
Is the training online or on-site?
Most groups train live online with a real instructor. On-site, in-person delivery is available by request.
Is there a minimum group size?
Most workshops booked for a team have a three participant minimum, and the Tuition section on each workshop page lists its exact terms. One-on-one sessions and smaller groups are priced case by case, and larger groups are quoted based on group size, schedule, and delivery format.
Can employees at different skill levels attend?
Most Microsoft Office workshops come in levels, from beginner through advanced, so you can place each employee in the right session. We can help you sort your team by level before you book.
Can you train our team on Excel, Word, and Outlook together?
Yes. Workshops can be combined into a multi-workshop program for a department or a new hire group, scheduled around your team and built around the files you use.
Do participants receive a certificate?
Yes. Every participant receives a certificate of completion, along with digital learning materials and take-home reference guides.
Can we pay by invoice or purchase order?
Yes. DWC invoices your organization directly and provides purchase order documentation.
Can individual employees join a public session?
When a workshop has public dates, they appear in the Dates section of this page with a registration button. If none are listed, request a quote and we will share your options.
