Description
Live Online Graphic Design Training in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Brand Identity
The Advanced Graphic Design Certificate is a four and a half month, live online program for career changers, marketing and communications professionals, and freelancers who want formal training in professional design. The curriculum runs six modules in the sequence real design work develops: design fundamentals first, then Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in depth, followed by advanced branding and identity design using Figma and AI-powered tools, and a final module dedicated to portfolio development and a live Capstone presentation.
Sessions meet twice a week in the evenings, 3.5 hours per session, for seven hours of live instruction weekly and 115.5 total class hours across approximately four and a half months, including scheduled breaks. Students should plan a total weekly commitment of ten to twelve hours including project work, and evening scheduling makes the program workable alongside a job or an active job search.
Cohorts begin in January, April, July, and October. Enrollment requires a meeting with a student advisor and an approved program application. The program is eligible for WIOA and DVR funding, Climb Credit financing, and DWC scholarships. Contact DWC to speak with an admissions advisor.
