In Google Ads for Beginners, you will learn how to use the powerful advertising system that connects your business to customers across Google Search, YouTube, Gmail, Discover, Maps, and the Display Network. Pay per click advertising belongs in almost every marketing plan, but it is very easy to start spending money and see little return. This hands-on class helps you avoid that frustration by teaching the current best practices for building and running campaigns, guided by an experienced Google Ads and PPC instructor.

Google Ads is simple to start and difficult to master. A campaign has many parts that must work together, and the platform has changed a great deal. Google AI now handles much of the bidding, targeting, and placement work that advertisers once did by hand, which means the marketer's job has shifted toward setting clear goals, feeding the system accurate conversion data, writing strong creative, and supervising results. This class teaches you that modern workflow from the ground up.

You will start from scratch and work with your instructor through the full lifecycle of a campaign, from account structure and setup to launch, reporting, and optimization. You will practice keyword research and match types in the age of broad match and Smart Bidding, write responsive search ads, set budgets and bidding strategies, and set up the conversion tracking that makes automated campaigns perform. Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this workshop. It is appropriate for beginners with no prior advertising experience. Basic comfort using a computer and a web browser is all that is expected. A Google account is useful for hands on practice, and familiarity with general digital marketing concepts is helpful but not required.
