- Scholarship award may only be applied towards a certification credential. Combining award with other funding sources is allowed.
- Applicants must be searching for employment in a high-demand, high-growth field
- Applicants must be able to clearly explain a significant financial need due to recent employment status change
Awards
Scholarship awards will be determined by Digital Workshop Center staff based on a case by case examination of financial situation, career goals, and more.
Awards will range from 25% to 100% of total tuition costs or approximately $1000-$8500. Equipment, software, textbooks or fixed expenses are not included in tuition and must be purchased by recipient separately.
For recipients of full tuition (100%) scholarship awards, you are required to pay a $300 materials and administrative fee in advance of enrollment
Awards are non-transferable. Scholarships offered by Digital Workshop Center are exclusively for use towards tuition at our institution and cannot be transferred to other universities or schools.
Final award decisions and division of funds are at the sole discretion of Digital Workshop Center staff.
Registration in any certification program or stand-alone class at Digital Workshop Center (DWC) is subject to the DWC Terms and Conditions.
Recipients shall be notified via email about scholarship awards. Awards must be accepted by Recipient in writing via email within 30 days of award notification or all award funds may be withdrawn.
Recipient has 60 days after award acceptance date to register for their first class or all award funds may be withdrawn.
In the event that a scholarship recipient needs to transfer classes to a different session, a fee of $150 will be applicable. The fee is non-negotiable and must be paid before the transfer is processed. If you would like to cancel or transfer a class, you must send your request in a written notice via email to info@digitalworkshopcenter.com.
Certification programs must be completed within one year of the start date of the first class.
Digital Workshop Center reserves the right to withdraw any unused award funding at any time for any reason.

Eligibility Requirements
All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for a Women and Tech Scholarship award.

Must identify as female and be actively pursuing a career in technology.

Must be 16 years of age or older at the time of application.

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Must be actively seeking employment in a high-demand, high-growth technology field. Scholarship awards may only be applied toward a DWC certificate program. Combining a scholarship award with other funding sources is permitted.

Must be able to clearly demonstrate financial need resulting from a recent change in employment status, career disruption, or other qualifying circumstance. This is addressed in the essay questions below.
Award Details
Scholarship awards are determined by DWC staff on a case-by-case basis, taking into account each applicant's financial situation, career goals, and essay responses.
Award Range
Awards range from 25% to 100% of total tuition. Equipment, software, textbooks, and other fixed expenses are not included in tuition and must be purchased separately by the recipient.
Full Tuition Recipients: $300 Materials and Administrative Fee Required
Recipients awarded 100% tuition coverage are required to pay a $300 non-refundable materials and administrative fee in advance of enrollment. This fee must be paid before your seat is confirmed.
Non-Transferable
Scholarship awards are non-transferable and may only be applied toward tuition at Digital Workshop Center. Awards cannot be transferred to other institutions. Final award decisions and division of funds are at the sole discretion of DWC staff.
Important Conditions
Please read the following conditions carefully before submitting your application. All recipients are bound by these terms upon acceptance of an award.
Acceptance Deadline: 30 Days
Award notifications are sent by email. Recipients must accept their award in writing via email within 30 days of notification. Awards not accepted within this window may be withdrawn.
Registration Deadline: 60 Days
Recipients have 60 days from their acceptance date to register for their first class. Failure to register within this period may result in withdrawal of the award.
Program Completion: Within One Year
All certificate programs must be completed within one year of the start date of the first enrolled class.
Class Transfers: $150 Fee
If you need to transfer to a different session, a $150 non-negotiable transfer fee applies and must be paid before the transfer is processed. Transfer requests must be submitted in writing to info@digitalworkshopcenter.com.
Withdrawal of Unused Funds
Digital Workshop Center reserves the right to withdraw any unused award funding at any time. All enrollments are subject to the DWC Terms and Conditions.
