The tech industry is booming and offers many opportunities for rewarding careers. The median wage for tech jobs is nearly double the median national wage.  IT professionals had a median annual salary of $88,240 in May 2019; compared to the median annual wage for all occupations of $39,810 according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. 2. Determine what aspects of tech you’re interested in

Once you have a strong grasp of what’s happening in the industry, it’s time to narrow your focus and pick a career path that matches your skills and interests. There is an abundance of tech related jobs around the country. For instance, you could build a simple, free mini-app and try to get it on Product Hunt to create a buzz and get it noticed. 5. Rock your next interview

While a resume or portfolio will bring you to a potential employer’s attention, your performance at a job interview can get you the job you desire. As with any profession, you should always prepare for a job interview and practice how you will respond to their questions. So make sure you practice and get comfortable with showing your personality in your answers.
