Description
Help desk and desktop support roles are one of the most reliable ways into an IT career, and most employers screen for one credential first: CompTIA A+. Studying alone from a book or video course leaves gaps, especially in troubleshooting, where the real skill is working a problem step by step under pressure.
This program closes that gap with 36 hours of live, instructor-led training in small classes. You work through hardware, operating systems, networking, security, and IT service management with an instructor who answers your questions in real time, then practice the way support teams actually work: diagnosing failures, documenting tickets, and explaining fixes to users. The final module is dedicated to CompTIA A+ Core 1 and Core 2 exam prep and a capstone IT support simulation, and both exam vouchers are included in tuition.
No prior IT experience is required. You finish with the DWC IT Support Specialist Certificate, a clear plan for passing both exams, and the practical skills to step into an entry-level support role.

Overview
Live Online CompTIA A+ Training: IT Support Specialist Certificate with Exam Vouchers Included
This private certificate program meets twice a week for six weeks, three hours per session, entirely live online. Each module builds on the last, moving from how computers work to how support teams keep them running.
You start with core IT fundamentals: the role of IT support, hardware components, and installing and configuring Windows and macOS, including user account management. From there you move into networking fundamentals and IT security, covering IP addressing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, network topologies, wireless, and the security controls that protect devices and networks.
The middle of the program goes deeper. You administer operating systems through file systems, the registry, Event Viewer, and Task Manager, work with macOS and Linux, and learn change management. You then configure routers, switches, VLANs, subnets, and static routes, and practice IT service management with ITIL 4 incident, problem, and change processes in Jira and ServiceNow.
The final weeks focus on troubleshooting and the exam. You diagnose display, printer, OS, and network failures with standard tools, see how AI can speed up troubleshooting and ticket handling, then review Core 1 and Core 2 objectives, take practice exams, and complete a capstone IT support simulation. Exam vouchers and scheduling guidance are provided at the end of the program.
