Monday.com Fundamentals for the Workplace

Monday.com Training for Teams: Boards, Workflows, and Everyday Collaboration

Monday.com Fundamentals for the Workplace is a professional development workshop for employees and teams who need a consistent, productive way to plan and track work in Monday.com. It moves participants from beginner to confident intermediate use in one day of live, hands-on instruction.

The first session covers the foundation: navigating workspaces and boards, building a board from scratch with the right columns and statuses, entering and organizing items, and assigning ownership and deadlines so responsibilities are clear. Participants work in a live Monday.com environment throughout, building alongside the instructor.

The second session focuses on working as a team: collaborating through updates and mentions, switching between Table, Kanban, Timeline, and Calendar views for different planning conversations, applying first automations to cut repetitive updates, and turning a well-built board into a template the whole team can reuse. Participants finish with working boards and a shared set of habits they can apply the next day.

Classes are available by request; there is no public schedule posted. Contact DWC to arrange a session for your team.

This course includes

  • Live, instructor-led training in two 4-hour sessions
  • Hands-on exercises in a working Monday.com environment
  • Reference materials and board templates to reuse with your team
  • Access to the session recording
  • DWC certificate of completion

Description

Most teams that adopt Monday.com use only a fraction of it. Boards get set up differently by every department, statuses go stale, and the tool that was supposed to organize work becomes one more place to check. The result is duplicated effort, missed handoffs, and managers chasing updates by email.

Monday.com Fundamentals for the Workplace gives employees a shared, working foundation in the platform. Participants build real boards during class, practice tracking ownership and deadlines, and learn the collaboration habits that keep projects moving without status meetings. Teams leave with a consistent way of working in Monday.com that makes everyday coordination faster and more reliable.
