Why it matters
Helping more women build careers in technology
Women bring perspectives that make products, teams, and companies stronger, yet the cost of retraining keeps many from making the move. The Women and Tech Scholarship takes on part or all of that cost so the decision comes down to your goals.
The application asks for your ideas on narrowing the gender gap in tech. There is no single right answer. Share what you have seen, what would have helped you, and what you plan to do with your new skills.

"I left a previous job to pursue the certificate because I felt like so much had changed in the marketing/communications world since I was in college, and I felt like I needed to catch up. ... I was able to apply the concepts that I learned in class directly to my job as a marketing coordinator at my new company. I even used parts of my capstone project to create a published advertisement for the company."
