At a Washington Technology Trade School like Digital Workshop Center, students work in limited cohort sizes through lessons and labs to gain new job skills. Professional development programs are centered around technology skills, and complemented with the necessary soft skills needed on the job. DWC’s certificate programs are available to all Washington residents under a WIOA grant, scholarship, or public enrollment.
Classes at DWC offer flexible class scheduling, rolling enrollment, and expert instructors. All of our programs are streamed live online, you will always be working with a live instructor and learning in a hands-on, experiential training environment.

Certification Program FAQs
How Long Does Each Program Take to Complete?
Certificate programs are completed in an average of 4-6 months. Some programs total length may vary. Check the program page for specific details on your program.
Each Certificate Program is comprised of many stand-alone classes, a Capstone project, and program-specific assignments. Once you have completed all the necessary course work, you will earn your certificate.
Career counseling workshops are available to all certificate program students.
When Can I Start?
Certificate program cohorts begin approximately once or more per calendar quarter. Check the program page or contact us for specific program schedules.
Students must complete a series of skills workshops in order to earn enough credit towards their certification.
What Is Included In A Certificate Program?
Similar to any higher education program, each Certificate Program is comprised of many stand-alone classes. Once you have completed all the necessary course work, plus a Capstone project and program specific assignments, then you will earn your certificate.
Certificate programs include:
- Materials: Professional Textbook(s) or Reference Packet(s) for every class
- Data files: Download materials with practice examples
- Support: Mentoring and coaching throughout your program, plus one month of mentoring support
- One year for a free re-take (for attended students of public classes only)
- Career coaching workshops including one-on-one resume writing, job search, and interview prep
Financial Aid
DWC offers a wide range of flexible financial aid options including 0% interest financing and payments plans. Deferred payments scholarships are also available to those who qualify.
