In this Crystal Reports Level 1 class, you will start by creating a basic report by connecting to a database and modifying its presentation.  However, by the end of the class, you will create dynamic, custom reports using advanced grouping techniques, parameters, formulas and functions, and so much more.

Crystal Reports classes are customized to your company’s specific training needs and we will work with you in advance of the class to make sure you get what you need from your time in class.

Class Objective: You will connect to a database to extract data and present it as a report.

Target Student: This course is designed for persons who need output from a database. In some cases, database programs have limited reporting tools, and/or such tools may not be accessible. Students may or may not have programming and/or SQL experience.

Performance-Based Objectives
Upon successful completion of Crystal Reports Level 1, students will be able to:

  • Identify the elements of the Crystal Reports interface.
  • Create and modify a basic report.
  • Use formulas to calculate and filter data.
  • Build a parameterized report.
  • Group report data.
  • Enhance a report.

Pre-requisites: Students should have knowledge of basic database and reporting concepts.

Training Type: Instructor led, private, one-on-one, student-paced learning model with structured hands-on activities.  Available for Private or Group Sessions.
