Refund Policy for Employee Training

Employee Training

If an employer is registering students at Digital Workshop Center (DWC) for the training of its employees, then enrollment is considered exempt under the Colorado Division of Private Occupational Schools (DPOS) statute.  This exemption is referred to as ‘Employee Training’ at DWC.  You can find a list of all acceptable exemptions under DPOS rules here.

Employee Training and all other exempt training under DPOS statutes at DWC still require an enrollment agreement for each student.  All policies of the standard enrollment agreement are applicable, except for the Refund Policy below.

The following refund, cancellation, and rescheduling policy is applicable to Employee Training and exempt training only:

Refund Policy for Employee Training – Exempt Students Only

If you are an exempt student under the Employee Training guidelines, you must adhere to the following refund, cancellation and rescheduling policy:

  • It is the responsibility of every registered Employee Training student to read and understand the Employee Training policy for refunds, rescheduling or cancellation requests prior to registration.
  • Any class or session for any Employee Training is applicable under the Employee Training guidelines.
  • Employee Training requires all students who need to cancel or reschedule for any reason to request the cancellation in writing by emailing info@digitalworkshopcenter.com.
  • A refund, reschedule or cancellation request is not considered final until confirmation in writing by DWC staff has been sent to the student.
  • DWC administrative staff will make all reasonable efforts to contact you within 2 business days of your request to confirm refund or rescheduling options, applicable fees, and will provide a final confirmation or denial notification.
  • Employee Training – Drop window without penalty:  7 calendar days or more prior to the first session date
    • Students who are enrolled but cancel or reschedule their registration greater than seven (7) calendar days before the start date of their scheduled class are entitled to a full refund of all tuition paid.
  • Employee Training – Drop window with penalty: Within 7 calendar days prior to the first session date
    • Students who are registered and confirmed in any Employee Training class that request to cancel or reschedule any portion of their registered class within seven (7) calendar days before the start date of their scheduled class are obligated to the following administrative fees:
      • If the request is finalized between 7 calendar days of class start date and more than 24 hours before the start of the first scheduled class session: $25 per student per request.
      • If the request is finalized less than 24 hours before the start date of any scheduled class session: $50 per student per request + any related administrative expenses incurred as a result of the last-minute cancellation.
      • If the request to reschedule or cancel any class session is finalized after the class start date:  $50 per student per request + any related administrative expenses incurred as a result of the last-minute cancellation.

All other refund requests for Employee Training for any reason will be authorized solely at the discretion of the Training Director and DWC administrative staff.

PAYMENT

Please remember that 100% of payment needs to be received at least seven (7) business days before the start of your class to guarantee your seat.

If you have pre-paid, paid your balance due as part of a certification program, or handled payment off-line (invoice or check), you do not need to take any additional steps at this time. For payment plan information, contact our administrative office.
