As part of an industry that prides itself on being collaborative, six coworking spaces in Fort Collins are taking that a step further with the announcement of a new coworking collective, Fo(co)works.
Officially launched Monday with a website, Fo(co)works’ landing page encompasses six coworking spaces in an effort to streamline people’s searches for coworking spaces that fit their needs. The participating coworking spaces include: Cohere, Cohere Bandwidth, Digital Workshop Center, Front Range Business Centers, Office Evolution Fort Collins, The Articulate and The Music District.
“Fo(co)works brings together the collective power of organizations that succeed by sharing, so it’s already a win,” said Cohere founder and owner Angel Kwiatkowski. “I’m personally involved in Fo(co)works to help other local coworking communities thrive by harnessing my seven years of experience building a DIY, community-centric coworking company. I’m also curious to see if we can get the coworkers from the individual Fo(co)works spaces to form relationships, and see what kind of interesting projects pop up from that.”
The collective will also present at least two annual events that will celebrate sharing. The alliance’s pilot event, a “friendsgiving” dinner that benefited the Food Bank of Larimer County, was hosted in November.
