Class Description
As you continue your training with frontend web development skills, you should be familiar with basic concepts of JavaScript programming for designing basic to intermediate web applications. However, JavaScript is a vast language and there is always more to learn. In the JavaScript Advanced class, you will create dynamic and attractive websites with professional JavaScript functionality.
Working closely with your instructor in a small class size, the focus of JavaScript Advanced is to improve your vocabulary, while also introducing new concepts such as testing, dependencies and builds, and asynchronous JavaScript.
The JavaScript Advanced class teaches real-world project assignments and allows you to grow your skills with close mentoring from your instructor. By the end of this class, students should expect to be at a junior level developer level, and will have added valuable skills to your resume to be more marketable to employers.

Class Objectives
Upon successful completion of the JavaScript Advanced (Level 2) class, students will learn:
- Part 1: Continuing your JavaScript vocabulary:
- Maintain JavaScript code using programming techniques
- Learn about modules, callbacks, JavaScript evolution
- Part 2: Dependencies and Builds
- Part 3: Frameworks
- Part 4: Testing and Offline Storage (project-based work)
- Part 5: Asynchronous JavaScript (project-based work)

Class Includes:
- 17.5 hours of classroom training
- Coursework will need to be completed outside of class time. Expected 30-40 hours of additional time outside of class
