Introduction to iPhone

iphone classThe iPhone is one of the world’s most popular smartphones.  It’s time you start to use yours more efficiently!

The iPhone user interface is built around the iPhone’s multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard. This amazing device can shoot video, take photos, play music, and perform Internet functions such as web-browsing and emailing. Other functions—games, reference, social networking, etc.—can be enabled by downloading and installing apps.

In this three-hour class, you will learn the basics of how to use the iPhone, including navigation techniques, working with apps, setting up email, managing contacts, and more.

Target Student: This class is designed for individuals who have recently purchased an iPhone and want to get to a more proficient level of usage.

Performance-Based Objectives
Upon successful completion of this iPhone class, students will be able to:

  • Navigate through the iPhone operating system using the touchscreen
  • Connect to Wi-Fi
  • Protect data
  • Restart/reset the device
  • Add an email account
  • Add and manage contacts
  • Work with apps
  • Use the camera app

Pre-requisites

Training Type: Instructor led, private, one-on-one,  student-paced learning model with structured hands-on activities.  Available for Private or Group Sessions.
