Overview

In this Microsoft Excel PivotTables class, you will master both PivotTables and PivotCharts, starting with the basics. You will leave this excel class confident in creating an advanced PivotTable and performing advanced data analysis in a short amount of time. Extend your Excel training to be more productive at work and save time today.

As you work through the sessions of Microsoft Excel PivotTables, each class will be a hands-on and intensive workshop, designed to help make difficult topics easier to understand. Your instructor, a Microsoft expert, will work with you closely to make sure that you avoid common mistakes in Excel PivotTables and apply best practices when possible.

Class Objectives

Upon successful completion of the Microsoft Excel PivotTables class, students will be able to:

  • Analyze large amounts of data using PivotTables and PivotCharts
  • Create a basic Excel PivotTable
  • Group and summarize your data in creative ways
  • Filter and sort your PivotTable
  • Apply Slicers for visual filtering
  • Use advanced features of PivotTables
  • Format PivotTables easily
  • Use conditional formatting within PivotTables

Pre-requisites

  • Basic digital literacy including file management is required.
  • Microsoft Excel Beginners (Level 1) or equivalent knowledge is required.
  • It is required you install the latest Microsoft Office software before starting class.
