DWC Celebrates 11 Year Anniversary

Since I started this business out of my house, I wanted to build a community center for education and professional development that I thought was missing in Northern Colorado.  With minimal outside funding and a small savings to invest, the company has continued with organic growth, limited debt, and amazing partnerships with local government and businesses.   We have found success with our focus on “skills, not degrees”.  Furthermore, coworking and community events have now become a sustainable part of the DWC model as well.

I am beyond proud of DWC.  In fact, there are not enough ways for me to express how thankful I am for the opportunity to build DWC from the ground up and have you all come along for the ride.

Loveland Public Library and Digital Workshop Center offer free classes on advanced technology

Loveland Public Library has built a reputation for innovative programming and technology. Digital Workshop Center (DWC) has been a community center for education and professional development for the past ten years. Both parties are now collaborating to bring advanced technology classes to the Loveland Library classroom, at no cost to the public, this May.

How it all Began: Digital Workshop Center

Digital Workshop Center is a staple in the Fort Collins Community. As Fort Collins has evolved over 10 years, DWC has been right here growing too. It all started in 2006 with a vision of disrupting the education model. Stu Crair wanted to offer a way to learn that truly impacted the student. Ten years later, Digital Workshop Center has proven the live instructor model to be effective.

Community Spotlight: Allied Women Entrepreneurs (AWE)

Allied Women Entrepreneurs offers a variety of meetings, workshops, events, and programs each month. All events are open to the public; individuals do not have to be members of AWE to attend our events, although we encourage interested women to join. We also offer a scholarship program for women who would like to take classes or attend conferences that will help them further their knowledge and experience as business owners.
