Cara Romero was born in Germany and happily resides in Fort Collins, CO. Her passion for education lead her towards learning multiple languages, sciences, health, and humanity. She studied at Colorado State University initially focusing on Health and Exercise Science – Health Promotion, but a year shy of graduating and she found herself naturally drawn to helping fulfill communication needs between customers, employers and employees of marketing companies based in Denver and Chicago. She instead received a Bachelor in Communication Studies with a Business minor, concentrating on Business and Interpersonal Communication.
Cara continued her education at CSU and graduated with her Masters in Tourism Management with an emphasis in Leadership and Destination Marketing. Tourism bonded her with Fort Collins’ vibrant Downtown culture where she volunteers with city organizations during events. Cara’s diverse background and education has helped a variety of local entrepreneurs organize small businesses and build start-up companies. Digital Workshop Center’s community involvement and higher learning gives her a wonderful opportunity to share knowledge with others.
In Cara’s free time she enjoys being outdoors, playing music, going to shows, crafting, and spending time with her family and fur babies. She is happiest in warm sunshine and being near natural water like the Poudre River.
